Your First Step Into Technical Diving
This course introduces you to the planning, equipment, procedures and mindset required for planned decompression diving. You’ll learn how to configure and manage technical diving equipment, plan technical dives, manage breathing gases, perform gas switches, respond to emergencies and work effectively as part of a technical diving team.
Tec 40 qualifies you to conduct limited decompression dives to 40 metres / 130 feet, using appropriate breathing gases and up to 50% oxygen as a decompression gas.
For many divers, Tec 40 is the beginning of an entirely new level of diving — opening the door to deeper wrecks, walls and other sites beyond recreational no-stop limits.
