Build the Foundation for Technical Diving
Tec Basics is designed for divers who want to become comfortable with technical equipment, configuration and fundamental skills before moving into full technical decompression training.
You’ll work on the fundamentals that separate technical diving from recreational diving, including equipment configuration, buoyancy, trim, propulsion, gas management and team procedures. The course is also useful for experienced technical divers who are moving into a new equipment configuration or looking to refresh their skills.
Tec Basics is an optional step in the PADI TecRec progression and can be an excellent bridge between recreational diving and Tec 40.

Divers who want to develop their technical diving foundation, improve buoyancy and trim, or become familiar with technical equipment before progressing to Tec 40.
